Flower Child Restaurant Coming to Del Mar
The healthy fast-casual eatery opens for business Dec. 6.

DEL MAR, CA - Flower Child, a fast casual restaurant chain specializing in convenient, healthy and nutritious foods, is coming to the San Diego area.
The restaurant, which has locations in the Los Angeles area, Arizona and Texas, is expected to debut its first San Diego location at Del Mar’s Flower Hill Promenade on Dec. 6.
The Flower Child menu is designed to offer a healthy and balanced dining experience with a selection of organic, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan items for lunch and dinner seven days a week and breakfast on weekends.

Much of the menu is mix-and-match style, allowing guests to select their favorite combination of seasonal vegetables, fruits, and grains, as well as optional proteins like Grass-Fed Steak and Organic Non-GMO Tofu. Additionally, on-the-go guests are served via a dedicated area designed to pick up a quick, fresh meal with ease.
Breakfast will also be served weekends starting at 8 a.m., including items such as a Quinoa Breakfast Burrito, Vegan Hash, and Spiced Maple Porridge. Along with morning beverages like the Liquid Sunshine (consisting of coconut water, carrot, orange, ginger, turmeric), organic coffee, and fresh squeezed citrus juice.
