Flower Hill Promenade Celebrates Grand Reopening with Ribbon Cutting

Property managing partner Jeffrey Essakow cut a the ribbon to welcome shoppers to the newly renovated Flower Hill Promenade.

Flower Hill Promenade celebrated it's grand "reopening" with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday afternoon. The shopping center on Via De La Valle has been under construction for several months.

Retailers, neighbors and shoppers attended the ceremony where Jeffrey Essakow, president of Protea Properties, which owns the 14-acre center, joined City Councilmembers Kevin Faulconer and Sherri Lightner in cutting the big red ribbon.

Construction workers had been working around the clock to finish for the celebration, which included the opening of Whole Foods.
