The Holidays are Just Around the Corner at L’Auberge Del Mar

Happy Merry Happy Season: Stand Up for Kids Dining, "Santa by The Sea" Tree Lighting and Seasonal Spa Specials

In December, L’Auberge Del Mar is the place to be for the merry, the merrier and the merriest holiday activities and for giving back to the community. Stand Up for Kids Dining at KITCHEN 1540 offers guests the satisfying opportunity to savor Chef Nathan Lingle’s winter creations while benefiting Stand Up for Kids. On December 4 is the resort’s “Santa by the Sea” Tree Lighting Del Mar Village Association event, which encourages visitors to donate toys to Rady’s Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House of San Diego. And, for pampering gifts for all, Spa L’Auberge is featuring Seasonal Spa Specials and 12 Days of Special Spa Perks.

Dine for a Cause at KITCHEN 1540

From Thursday, December 1, through Monday, December 12, it’s Dine for a Cause at KITCHEN 1540. Enjoy Chef Nathan Lingle’s starters such asKing Crab with buttermilk panna cotta or Cold Smoked Mussels with shaved fennel, poached tomato and marble potato. Then choose perhaps Lamb Ragout with house tagliatelle or Skuna Bay Salmon with black rice and broccoli spigarello. Kitchen 1540 will donate 25% of the bill to Stand Up for Kids whose mission is to end the cycle of youth homelessness throughout the United States.

“Santa by the Sea” Del Mar Tree Lighting in L’Auberge Del Mar’s Amphitheater

Sunday, December 4, 2016, from 3 to 5 p.m.; tree lighting at 5 p.m.

This annual Del Mar Village Association event delights families with a dazzling tree lighting ceremony, pictures with Santa, carolers and arts and crafts. Executive Chef Nathan Lingle will be serving hot cocoa, savory bites and holiday cookies. Spa L’Auberge will offer a table – for both kids and adults – for writing letters to Santa. L’Auberge Del Mar invites the community to donate an unwrapped toy to Rady’s Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House of San Diego. Complimentary admission.

All is Merry and Bright

The skin is treated to a natural fruit acid peel to exfoliate and improve skin tone and texture. Active natural peptides, organic grape stem cells, potent antioxidants and plant extracts help brighten and fight the appearance of fine lines. 50 minutes - $115.00

Sugar and Spice Body Retreat

This full spa body treatment starts with a brown sugar and bourbon exfoliation. Then the body is painted with a hydrating and purifying honey and oat mask. After a warm rinse, a full body massage is performed to help ease tension and holiday stress. 110 minutes - $235.00

Chocolate Peppermint Pedicure

Toes are dipped into a warm peppermint foot bath, followed by a foot and calf exfoliation and chocolate mask to pamper and protect. A relaxing foot and calf massage follows, and toes are finished with a polish of choice. 50 minutes - $65.00

Aromatherapy Massage

This thorough massage treatment begins with a consultation to review client’s over all physical, mental and emotional health. Then a customized therapeutic oil is selected, a hot or cold compress is applied and a massage is performed for total renewal.80 minutes - $185.00
