UPDATE: No Medical Rescue Of 2 Hang-Gliders Required

The individuals were walked off the cliff by emergency personnel, authorities said.

LA JOLLA, CA - No injuries were reported and no rescue response was required after the Friday afternoon report of two hang-gliders colliding in mid-air, a fire department spokesman said.

Emergency personnel accompanied the two involved parties, a man and woman, as they walked off the bluff on which they landed.

LA JOLLA, CA - Emergency crews are preparing to rescue two hang-gliders who apparently collided in the air near Torrey Pines Gliderport, 2800 Torrey Pines Scenic Drive, and wound up on a bluff above Black's Beach.

There's no immediate word on injuries.
