Larrymania Comes to Del Mar; Larry Hernandez To Perform Concert at Races

The Del Mar Concert Series during the races includes performances Larry Hernandez, Steel Pulse and Weezer.

Larry Hernandez will bring his personal, regional Mexican style to the Del Mar racetrack on Saturday, August 4.

While Hernandez has been singing since 1998, his career began in earnest with the hit album release 16 Narcos Corridos, featuring songs depicting the drug trafficking culture.

His fame in the Latin music community was further cemented when Larrymania, a reality TV series depicting Hernandez’ musical career and personal life, aired in 2012.

Hernandez’ music has garnered multiple Latin Billboard Music Awards and his personal style is well liked by fans. Expect an intense, personal and honest performance at star’s show, which is free with racetrack admission.

  • Where: Del Mar Fairgrounds at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd  Del Mar, CA 92014.
  • When: Sunday, August 4 (after the last race).
  • Price: Free with racetrack admission or if you arrive AFTER the last race, tickets are $20.
  • Parking: Concert Parking is $20. Racetrack parking before the final race is run is $10.
