Woman Missing From Rancho Santa Fe Found

Ailsa Leech, 60, was last seen Wednesday afternoon when she left the home of a family member on foot, authorities said.

Update: Ailsa Leech was found early Thursday morning near her residence. She was treated for non-life threatening injuries and transported to the hospital for further medical evaluation.

RANCHO SANTA FE, CA – Authorities are seeking the public's help in finding a woman who went missing in the Rancho Santa Fe area.

Ailsa Leech, 60, was last seen around 2:50 p.m. Wednesday when she left the home of a family member on foot without telling anyone where she was going, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Department. The Las Vegas resident, whose physical health is described as frail, may be suffering from depression, authorities said.

Leech is Hispanic, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weight 119 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown and red hair that she occasionally wears in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing lavender and black jogging attire with a black sweatshirt, authorities said.

Anyone with information about Leech's whereabouts was asked to call the San Diego Sheriff's Department at 858-565-5200.
