Local Students Participating in LLS Fundraiser Campaign
Torrey Pines Students are campaigning for funds through the Students of the Year program ran by LLS.
Local Students Start Campaign
The campaign has started for these Torrey Pines students in an effort to raise the most funds for Leukemia Research. Leukemia is a cancerous disease that forms in the blood, the tissues in the body become swollen and prevents infections to be fought by the body. The students are competing against other HS's in San Diego. Students of the Year is a philanthropic leadership development program for exemplary high school students. Each year candidates form teams made up of friends, family and colleagues to compete in their local community for the title of Students of the Year.
