Meet ‘Food Lovers’ Guide to San Diego’ Author at Barnes & Noble

You might recognize her byline from the U-T San Diego, DiningOut magazine or Ranch & Coast magazine. Food and wine journalist and author Maria Desiderata Montana will be signing copies of her book Food Lovers' Guide to San Diego at the Barnes & Noble in Del Mar Highlands on Saturday at 1 p.m.

In the book, which was released Sept. 18, Montana reviews all of her favorite restaurants, farmers markets, breweries and brew pubs and wine bars in San Diego County. The book is written for both locals and visitors.

Barnes & Noble called the book "the ultimate guide to the food scene in San Diego."

Barnes & Noble is located at 12835 El Camino Real, San Diego, CA 92130.

If you can't make it to the book store on Sunday, don't fret. On Saturday from 3:30 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m., she will be at the San Diego Wine Show at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. And on Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can find her in front of the Pacifica Del Mar Restaurant during the Taste of Del Mar and Art Stroll.
