Mission Federal Credit Union Opening Branch in Carmel Valley

Mission Federal Credit Union is opening a Carmel Valley branch in Plaza Carmel Shopping Center next week. Currently the closest Mission Federal branch to Carmel Valley residents is Solana Beach and an ATM in Sorrento Valley.

The opening on Tuesday is part of a planned expansion for the credit union, which has 160,000 members and $2.3 billion in assets. 

Mission Federal Credit Union, a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, has deep roots in San Diego. It has more than 20 branches, more than 40 Mission Federal ATMs and more than 30,000 Co-Op Network ATMS (provides surcharge-fee access to ATM services) in the area. It celebrated its 50th year in business last year.
