Royal India Spices Up Carmel Valley
Brothers Sandeep and Jagdeep Kambo opened their fourth Royal India restaurant in the Piazza Carmel Shopping Center last month.
Royal India's authentic Indian cuisine is bringing new flavors to the Piazza Carmel Valley Shopping Center. The restaurant officially opened its doors for business last month.
Owners and executive chefs Jagdeep and Sandeep Kambo opened the first Royal India in 1996 in the Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego. Since then, they have also opened Royal India Casual Dining and Kebab Grill inside Westfield UTC.
The Kambo brothers incorporate all of their mother's own recipes into the menu to cook every dish home-style. Jagdeep Kambo said some of the restaurants most popular dishes are the lamb shank, chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi and garlic nan.
