Souplantation Attracts Thousands of Hungry Diners on Opening Day
Souplantation on Valley Centre Drive reopened Thursday night.
The remodeled Souplantation on Valley Centre Drive in Carmel Valley re-opened Thursday night with much excitement. A line formed outside for several hours as hungry neighbors waited to build-their-own meal from a large salad bar and serve yourself soups, pastas, breads and desserts.
Guests were treated to live music, demonstrations and passed treats. The first 100 guests received gift bags. In addition, a portion of last night’s opening was donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
New menu items include cage-free and antibiotic-free chicken skewers, Niman Ranch steak skewers. Souplantation will soon have local craft beer and wine options too.
