Tickets on Sale for DMVA Vintner Dinner
The Del Mar Village Association's Vintner Dinner will be hosted by Jake's Del Mar on Sept. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Tickets are now on sale for the Del Mar Village Association's Vintner Dinner being held on Sept. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. Jake’s Del Mar will be hosting the night of fine dining showcasing Jake’s Executive Chef Dustin Anselm. The dinner will feature an exclusive five-course food and wine pairing.
Dinner tickets cost $85 per person or $75 per person with a group of eight or more. Proceeds from the event will benefit the revitalization efforts of the Del Mar Village Association. - First Course: Mango butter poached lobster, coconut braised hearts of palm, edamame horseradish puree, noodle & kumquat salad.
- Second Course: Truffle heirloom tomato and white bean soup, golden raisin compote, crispy pancetta
- Third Course: Seared sea scallops, bacon scented dashi, shitake mushrooms, pickled mustard seed, sea beans, butternut orange puree.
- Fourth Course: Durham Ranch buffalo tenderloin, parsnip apple bread pudding, braised pork belly, smoked tomato demi, locally farmed glazed vegetable
- Fifth Course: “Opera cake”, hazelnut chocolate sauce, grand marnier gelato, honeycomb
- Wine pairings, from local and international vineyards, are to be announced
