Tio Leo's Closing Down

Tio Leo a Mexican restaurant located at 3510 Valley Centre Drive is a 1.5-acre site built in 1983, the building covers 1,700 square feet. Three other Tio Leo's locations will still be operating in the San Diego region, Poway, Linda Vista and Grantville. The Carmel Valley planning council has a approved the transition and development of a new Hyatt Hotel

Hyatt Hotel To Include Nice Features

The hotel will have five stories, 127 rooms, 127 parking spots, and 8 motorcycle slots. The grounds will include an outdoor pool and spa, fitness room, meeting rooms and underground parking. The Hyatt Hotel would surround an AMPM, Marriot Courtyard and Marriot Hotel as well as a Hampton Inn and DoubleTree across the road. Local restaurants less than a mile away include a Souplantation, Starbucks and Chipolte, a Safeway/Pavillions Grocery store is less than a mile away as well. Fast food including McDonalds and Jack In The Box are less than 3 miles.

The San Diego Planning Board still has not approved the development of the 106,765 square foot hotel.
