Winston School Hosts Open House

Feb. 10. 2017 -- The Winston School, a Del Mar-based independent school for students in grades six through 12 with learning differences, is hosting its spring Open House from 9 to 10:30 am Wednesday, March 1. The event is an opportunity for parents whose children are struggling in public or private school settings to see how The Winston School could meet their needs.

“Parents find that our model of teaching students in a way that allows them to learn best helps them thrive,” said Dena Harris, head of school. “Typical public and private schools are not able to do this like we can.”

Harris, the school’s new Head, noted that more than 90% of Winston’s graduates go on to college.
