YEAH! The Yeah Yeah Yeahs to Play Del Mar

The Del Mar Racetrack has added two artists to its 2013 concert lineup. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs will perform on August 23 and Rocket From the Crypt on August 30.

The two bands round out the season to 12 free shows with paid admission. All concerts are all ages.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are an indie rock trio led by vocalist Karen O. Many of their song have crossed over into mainstream playlists, including Maps, Gold Lion and Zero. There song Heads Will Roll, was even featured on Fox's Glee. Their latest album was released in April. 

Rocket From the Crypt is a San Diego-based rock band with years of experience. The band formed in the late 1980's.

• Where: Del Mar Fairgrounds at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd  Del Mar, CA 92014.
• When: Saturday, August 23 for Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Saturday, August 30 for Rocket From The Crypt. Both concerts are after the last race.
• Price: Free with racetrack admission or if you arrive AFTER the last race, tickets are $20.
• Parking: Concert Parking is $20. Racetrack parking before the final race is run is $10.
