1 Killed, 2 Injured In LA County Shooting

The triple shooting was reported at 12:54 a.m. in the 13200 block of Imperial Highway.

LA MIRADA, CA -- An argument at a bar in La Mirada Saturday morning spilled out into a parking lot where a man was fatally shot, and a security guard and a woman also hit. The dead man was later identified as Adrian Quesada, 30, of Ontario, said Lt. Dave Smith of the coroner's office.

The triple shooting was reported at 12:54 a.m. in the 13900 block of Imperial Highway, said Deputy Trina Schrader of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

A 41-year-old man working as a security officer at the bar was involved in an argument with several patrons and the dispute continued into the parking lot where "it appears several people started shooting at each other,' said Deputy Charles Moore.

Quesada drove away from the scene, and his vehicle struck a center median in the 13600 block of Imperial Highway, disabling it. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Moore said, and a gun was recovered inside his vehicle.

The security guard was taken to an area hospital, where he is expected to survive his gunshot wounds. Also, a woman, who was suffering from several gunshot wounds, was taken to an area hospital and was expected to survive her injuries, he said.
