The Chinese American Association of Walnut, in collaboration
with the Walnut based String and Bamboo Orchestra, is hosting a night of
classical Chinese music to celebrate the Year of the Horse and honor the
Chinese cultural heritage. You are
cordially invited to this concert to celebrate the holiday festivity with us!
This ensemble features many talented local youth and adult artists who bring
modern interpretation to classical Chinese music. Under the leadership of
master "dizi" bamboo flutist Bin He and master "guzheng"
Chinese harpist Jiangli Yu, the ensemble has had many sold-out concerts since
its inception in 2002. This free concert is part of the orchestra's outreach
efforts to promote the traditional Chinese music to the public.
