7 Busted In LA County Prostitution Sting
Police officers went undercover to investigate alleged prostitutes.

POMONA, CA -- A prostitution sting along the "Holt Corridor" in Pomona netted seven arrests, a police officer said Sunday. The sting operation began sometime Saturday along Holt Avenue and included plainclothes officers, said Officer Dan Gomez of the Pomona Police Department.
Police did not release an approximate time of the operation.
In all, six people were arrested on suspicion of prostitution and another person was arrested on suspicion of loitering with intent to commit prostitution.

An 18-year-old woman was also charged with providing a false name to officers during the investigation, Gomez said.
