ACLS is a classroom-based course, where providers enhance their skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies, while earning their American Heart Association® ACLS (AHA ACLS) for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card.
ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and paramedics, as well as other professionals who need an ACLS course completion card for job or other requirements. On the day of class the student will have the option to take the ACLS course as an extended one day course or a traditional 2 day course.
