Diamond Bar pool owners should plan ahead for supplies, since the chain says it will keep operating overall but many underperforming California stores, including the local one, are already closing or slated to close soon.
   

• Los Altos football runs past West Covina to stay unbeaten (pasadenastarnews.com) — Los Altos High stayed unbeaten with a 41-28 win over West Covina, but the key local note is that West Covina will host Diamond Bar next Friday at 7 p.m. Diamond Bar fans can scout West Covina's run-heavy attack, led by standout back Jayden Carter, who scored four touchdowns in the loss.
