DIAMOND BAR, CA — Contractors will conduct construction work this week on State Routes 57 and 60 as part of the State Route 57/60 Confluence Chokepoint Relief Project, prompting a series of daytime and nighttime closures in Diamond Bar, the city said on Monday.
From Oct. 5 through Oct. 9, lanes on eastbound and westbound Highway 60 between Lemon Avenue and Diamond Bar Boulevard will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. The northbound Highway 57 connector to eastbound Highway 60 will also close nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The eastbound Highway 60 Diamond Bar Boulevard on-ramp will close overnight Oct. 5 and Oct. 8 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. The eastbound Highway 60 connector to northbound Highway 57 will close Oct. 9 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Additional daytime closures are scheduled throughout the week. The eastbound Highway 60 Diamond Bar Boulevard on-ramp will close from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., while the off-ramp will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Oct. 5 through Oct. 9.
Motorists traveling through the area were advised to allow additional time and use caution in construction zones.
