The OC Register chose him both for his accomplishments as a business owner and for all of his charitable non-profit work in the field of combating distracted teen driving and texting while driving, Since 2010, Irving and his Text Kills crew have traveled all across the country in the Text Kills Bus spreading awareness about the seriousness of distracted driving and encouraging teens to take a pledge not to text while driving. This is an issue that is very near and dear to Irving’s heart, as he is a father himself and passionate about stopping the needless deaths of young drivers resulting from distracted driving.
