Boy, 10, Wounded In Drive-By Shooting In Pomona

The shooting happened about 2:50 p.m. in the 1100 block of Cornelia Street

POMONA, CA -- A 10-year-old boy was wounded Sunday in a drive-by shooting that appears to be a gang-related attack, Pomona police said.

The shooting happened about 2:50 p.m. in the 1100 block of Cornelia Street, Pomona Lt. Brian Hagerty said.

Police received multiple 911 calls about the shooting but found the victim at a hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to his shoulder, Hagerty said.

The boy is hospitalized in stable condition, the lieutenant said.

Police have no suspect information at this time, Hagerty said.
