1. The baseball fields fit the kids age and ability with 7-8 year olds beginning with 50 foot bases and 38 foot pitching distances. Each age group has their own base distance and pitching distance. In Diamond Bar, there is pretty much a field for each age group.
2. "Real" MLB baseball is played beginning at age 9. The rules are the basically the same as the pros play. All kids that sign up get to play baseball.
3. The game is funner for kids playing every position as there is much more action.
