Burglaries, Thefts, and a Purse Snatching in Recent Crime

Vehicle burglaries, petty thefts, and resdential break-ins were among the crimes most reported in Diamond Bar, Walnut and the City of Industry from Jan. 8-17.

Crimes reported also included some bicycles stolen, a couple of assaults, and a purse snatching.

Wednesday, Jan. 16

• Vehicle burglary – reported at 7:45 a.m. in the 20800 block of Golden Springs Drive.

• Vehicle burglary – reported at 2:40 a.m. in the 24000 block of Highcrest Drive.

Tuesday, Jan. 15

• Petty theft, shoplifting – reported at 7:40 p.m. in the 200 block of S. Diamond Bar Boulevard.

• Petty theft of auto parts and accessories – reported at 4 p.m. in the 2800 block of S. Diamond Bar Boulevard.
  

• Grand theft – reported at 11 a.m. in the 21400 block of Cold Springs Lane.

• Residential burglary – reported at 1 p.m. in the 3500 block of Castle Rock Road.

Sunday, Jan. 13

• Grand theft – reported at 2 p.m. in the 23800 block of Minnequa Drive.

• Strong-arm robbery – reported at 2 a.m. in the 300 block of Navajo Springs Road.

• Petty theft – reported at noon in the 700 block of Grand Ave.
