City's Recreation Services Division Organizing Trip to Getty Villa

The city of Diamond Bar’s Recreation Services Division is organizing a March bus trip to the Getty Villa in Malibu.

The bus will leave Diamond Bar City Hall at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, and return at around 6 p.m. Lunch will be provided, and will consist of a sandwich (turkey, ham, roast beef, or Mediterranean veggie), chips, cookie, and a drink. 

The Getty Villa is an educational center and museum, featuring art from ancient Greece, Rome, and Etruria. There are 23 permanent galleries and five alternating galleries with antiquities dating back to 6500 B.C. 

The cost is $36 per person, including transportation, museum admission, lunch, and a snack on the way back to Diamond Bar.
