City Of Walnut: SoCalGas Activity - 7/27 Through 7/28

The City of Walnut has received notice from SoCalGas of manned helicopter flight activity that will be conducted on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 and followed by re-flights on Wednesday, July 28 in the cities of West Covina, La Puente, Hacienda Heights, and Walnut areas.

There is no threat to the community. SoCalGas is performing these flights as a part of testing for the SB 1371 requirement. The flights will utilize a Bell JetRanger helicopter flying at 500 ft. above ground level (AGL) in a back-and-forth (lawnmower) pattern.
