WALNUT, CA — The sheriff's department Wednesday sought the public's help in locating a 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air that was taken from the owner's home in Walnut.
The red Bubble Top 409 Bel Air, which "has been in the victim's family for four generations," was taken late on the evening of Jan. 22 on La Tortola Drive, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported.
According to investigators, one suspect drove a sedan up to the Bel Air and broke the window of the classic car, at which point a second suspect pulled up in a dark truck and loaded the Chevy onto a towing device attached to his vehicle before driving off.
