Diamond Bar House Fire Injures One: LA County Fire
A fire raced through a Diamond Bar two story apartment home on Monday, injuring at least one.

DIAMOND BAR, CA —A fire was burning through a two-story apartment home on the 2800 block of Shadow Canyon Drive in Diamond Bar, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The fire, reported at just after 11 a.m. Monday morning, was knocked down by noon, LA County Fire's PIO reported.
"One victim was transported to a local hospital," they said. The cause of the fire was under investigation. Building inspectors were notified due to "structural compromise,'' the fire department reported.
As of this report it was unclear what started the fire. There was no word as to if the victim was a resident of the home, or if a firefighter was injured during the blaze. Mop-up efforts were underway as of noon, Monday.
