This Diamond Bar Package Thief Sought by Homeowner [Watch]

DIAMOND BAR, CA — Have you seen this man? A package thief was caught on camera stealing from the front porch of this Valeview Drive home in Diamond Bar. The family reached out over social media to see if anyone has witnessed this vehicle cruising the neighborhood and stealing packages.

"It wasn't much. Just a pair of gloves and a shaving kit," homeowner Jon Wong said. "We filed a police report but wanted everyone to know this was going on."

The four-door bright blue economy vehicle, thought by Wong to be a Ford Fiesta or Focus, was seen driving along Valeview Dr. on January 2 at approximately 3 p.m.

The vehicle came to a stop outside of the Wong residence. A man with a mustache, wearing a gray hoodie, was seen exiting the passenger rear door of the vehicle, then racing across the lawn to the front porch. He returned to the car with a package under his arm.

"I wanted to share the video to prevent this from happening again, and to hopefully have this person caught," Wong said.

Diamond Bar division of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is currently investigating the theft. Any information should be shared with investigators at 909-595-2264.
