Diamond Bar Women's Club Kicking Off Season
The first meeting of the year is set for Sept. 21

The Diamond Bar Women’s Club is ready to kick-off the 2011-2012 season.
Meeting the third Wednesday of each month at the Diamond Bar Golf Course, the Diamond Bar Women’s Club is part of the national General Federation of Women’s Clubs. Members work together to volunteer in the community, and the club is comprised of a wide range of ages and interests.
The first meeting of the new year is set for Wednesday, Sept. 21. President Patsy Wilson will announce the club’s programs as well as the benefits of being a member.

Upcoming events include a breakfast at Applebee’s in Walnut for Saturday, October 22, where $10 will get participants a full breakfast. On Sunday, November 13, an evening of dinner and entertainment will take place at the Diamond Bar Golf Course, with proceeds from the event going to scholarships for local students and other philanthropic organizations.
