Senior third baseman and outfielder had Diamond Ranch’s only home-run of the tournament against Ocean View. Bridgewater leads Hacienda league in homeruns with four and sits on top of standings in slugging percentage (SLG) with an impressive .962.
Senior first baseman Ivan Hernandez scored a run in two of the three games in the tournament showing stability for Diamond Ranch.

The Panthers are tied in third place with Los Altos in Hacienda league and haven’t faced a Hacienda league opponent since March 30th, due to various tournaments.
Diamond Ranch will fight to hold their ground after a 3-0 loss to Los Altos and another league game against West Covina Friday at 3:30 p.m.

Track and Field: The Panthers will travel to Los Altos Thursday for their last meet before competing in the San Gabriel Valley Championships on Saturday, April 23, at West Covina High School.
Senior Marquise Cherry leads the Hacienda league in the men’s 200 meters and junior Jalise Beamon leads the league in women’s triple jump, leaping an impressive 34 feet.
Boys tennis: Coach Will Fritz is pleased with the promise that his Panthers have showed in the first half of the season. The solid play of freshman Vicente Castro has been a positive addition to the team.
With a younger varsity team, Fritz said that seniors Eric Soles and Phillip Dorion exhibit leadership and constantly leave their heart and soul on the court each time they play. In doubles play, Brendan Sio is another of the dominant players for the Panthers.
The Panther’s next league match is at home against their cross-town rivals, the Diamond Bar Brahmas, Thurs. April 14 at 3:30 p.m.
