Goodwill Grand Opening Full of Fanfare
Opening of the 67th store ushers in excitement and accolades.
With plenty of coffee in their stomachs and anticipation in their hearts, more than 100 patrons lined up at the grand opening of the new Goodwill Store on Golden Springs Drive, Friday morning.
This is Goodwill's 67th store, the 7th overall opening this year.
Hopeful customers began lining up as early as 5:30 a.m., according to store officials.

"Usually at our store openings we get a pretty big turnout," said Craig Smith, chief operating officer for Goodwill Southern California.
The store also held a raffle for such prizes as a LCD flat screen television and some DVDs.

Jim Mowes, a store patron, supports Goodwill's efforts to help the less fortunate.
So what did he buy at Goodwill?
"I bought an Xbox," Mowes said. "My old one broke and I got a good deal on this one."
Funds garnered will go toward financing the organization and reaching out to those in need, officials said.
