Diamond Bar Community Garden, DB United Christ of Church, and The Growing Home have joined together to offer a series of gardening classes that is focused on how to garden in (sub)urban dwellings.
Classes are held at DBUCC (2335 S. Diamond Bar Blvd) starting tonight at 6:00 pm to 7:30 p.m. Tonight class is about community building with a potluck. Come meet others that share a passion for home grown food.
Topics will include: Building Soil (even in Diamond Bar), Water Conservation, Designing a Beautifully Productive Nature Food Garden, Livestock in the Garden, and picking Best Plants for Year Round Food.
This gardening series is a start to bringing like minded individuals together to build support for home gardeners and sharing the vision of DB Community Garden.
