Walnut takes on West Covina (1-2) this Friday after an upsetting lost to Bonita. Walnut comes into week 7 with a league record of 1-1. Beating Rowland was great but we fell to Bonita after controlling them in the first half. The Mustangs have always struggled versus the Bulldogs but so have many other Hacienda League teams. This year is not West Covinas best year and just like every team in the league, we're trying to take advantage of that and get another league W.
West Covina hosts the Mustangs at West Covina High. Kick off is at 7PM.
