Idols

Today, my Muhammad Ali book came in. I spent 5 dollars on a 500 page book about someone i know absolutely nothing about other then that he was one of the greatest boxers to walk the face of the Earth. The thing I found most interesting however, is the impact that one person can have on the world and on an individual. In my room i also have 2 posters hanging of him. Although i do not know anything about him he still serves as a role model, and someone that i look up to hugely. This guy, is a true idol in my eyes. However, you ask, how can someone you don't even know be an idol? The answer to that is very simple. When you have the whole world talking about you, the majority positively, when you have heard the things you have, greatest boxer, competitive, humble, etc. the list goes on... It is hard NOT to see him as an idol. I am sure that once I indulge into my book about him, my judgement of him will be made even clearer. I am super stoked to read about him and all he did. Idols are not only people who you know of, an idol can be anything and/or anyone. There are no limits to what an idol can or cannot be.
