It's Time to Sign Up for Diamond Bar Pony Baseball

Diamond Bar Pony Baseball is gearing up for another fun season of ball, with sign-ups beginning November 16.

“Pony Baseball is the premier youth baseball organization,” said Bryan Bernardino, president. “It’s for children between the ages of 4 to 14 years old.”

The season starts March 3, and will end June 2. There are five divisions: Shetland for ages four to six, focusing on instructing young players; Pinto for ages seven and eight, teaching the fundamentals of baseball; Mustang for ages nine and ten, training in the complete game of baseball; Bronco for ages 11 and 12; and Pony for ages 13 and 14.

“Parents can expect the teaching of baseball basic fundamentals along with a team concept,” Bernardino said.

According to Bernardino, there are several benefits for kids who want to join Diamond Bar Pony Baseball.

“Baseball teaches kids the concept of playing and working together with others,” he said. “It’s great for social interaction.”
