The country is struggling to make sense of this morning’s mass shooting in an Aurora, Colo., movie theater.
Authorities say 12 people were killed during a midnight screening of “The Dark Knight Rises” the latest and last installment of the Batman series, starring Christian Bale. A gunman identified as James Holmes, a former resident of San Diego and possibly Riverside, opened fire inside the packed theater.
