Local, regional employers will be interviewing at March 2 Chino Hills Job Fair
Open and free to the public, Chino Hills Job, College and Veterans Fair will feature companies looking to fill immediate job openings.
Many of the region’s top companies, government organizations, staffing agencies, nonprofit organizations and educational institutions have reserved their spots to meet with job seekers at the Chino Hills Job, College and Veterans Fair on Wednesday, March 2, at Chino Valley Community Church in Chino Hills.
Currently unemployed, those who are looking for new career opportunities and military veterans are invited to attend. The job fair is free and open to the public.
From 10 a.m.-2 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to meet and interview with dozens of organizations – all in one place and all in one day. Chino Valley Community Church is located at 14601 Peyton Dr. To register, visit www.cvcchurch.org.

The event will also feature various employment resources and higher educational institutions that will be on hand to answer questions and take applications. Among the many participating organizations are American Income; ChildCare Careers; Concordia University Irvine; Dewey Pest Control; Dignity Memorial; Inland Respite, Inc.; ITT Technical Institute; Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department; New Horizons Computer School; New York Life; Peoples Care; Primerica; Roadmaster Drivers School; Robertson’s Ready Mix and Westcliff University
“Here at Chino Valley Community Church we think we are in a position to support and serve our community,” said Nathan Goble, discipleship pastor. “Many in our community are unemployed or underemployed, and we are excited bring employers to local job seekers to address those critical needs. Financial burdens have a way of creating other barriers that keep people from meeting their goals. We believe this job fair will help many in our community, and it has the potential to sent a positive ripple effect through the life of job seekers and their families.”

Attendees are encouraged to dress in business attire and come equipped with resumes. Employers will be interviewing to fill as many as 450 current job openings in accounting, administration, clerical, customer service, education, financial services, health care, nursing, law enforcement, management, manufacturing, non-profit, sales, transportation and more. Hourly pay rates average from $10-$25, but there are also an assortment of higher-level job openings.
Church Job Fairs, an organization partnering with Chino Valley Community Church in presenting the Inland Empire Job, College and Resource Fair, is also working with other churches throughout Southern California to put on similar events.
