Man Suspected of Drunken Driving Slams into Big Rig on 60 Freeway

A 20-year-old Chino man suspected of drunken driving suffered major injuries and was arrested following a crash Saturday morning on the 60 freeway just east of Fairway Drive.

Christopher Oviedo, was hospitalized in stable condition following the 6 a.m. collision in which he reportedly rear ended a big rig, which fled the scene, reported the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

Oviedo was headed westbound on the 60 freeway at an unknown speed in the No. 3 lane when he got into the No. 4 lane and rammed into the back of the big rig, the newspaper reported.
