Montclair Fire at Recycling Plant Out
The fire, reportedly broke out around 2:20 p.m., burned two homes and damaged several out buildings.

MONTCLAIR, CA - Several agencies are responding to a large fire at a shuttered recycling facility in Montclair that has destroyed at least two homes and threatened several others nearby.

The blaze was burning at around 2 p.m. at the Coast Metal Recycling Plant in the 4700 block of West State Street. Two homes were damange and out buildings others were damaged, according to KNX.
One person was hospitalized for smoke inhalation, according to KCAL.

As of 5 p.m., the fire is out at the plant but traffic is a mess around the area. Authorities are advising motorists to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department is among the agencies responding to the scene of the fire.
The cause of the conflagration is unknown at this time.
