Motorists Warned of Pending Road Work on Golden Springs
Construction crews are scheduled to work on drainage improvements from Aug. 6 through sometime in mid September.

Construction crews are scheduled to work on drainage improvements along Golden Springs Drive from Aug. 6 through sometime in mid September.
The work is expected to extend 800-feet west of Lavender Drive. Crews will work on concrete curb and gutter, catch basins, and underground lateral drain lines, city officials said.
Construction should be done from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. There will be lane closures but officials said at least one lane will remain open in each direction will be maintained open at all times.

The project should help alleviate flooding and water stagnation that occurs in the area during heavy rainfall, officials said.
Motorists are reminded to drive with caution and follow posted speed limits when passing through construction areas.
