Neighboring Homes Catch Fire In Walnut

The blaze was logged in the Julliard Drive area. No injuries reported.

WALNUT, CA – UPDATE: TUESDAY, JUNE 27, 3:50 p.m.

Fire damaged two adjacent homes in Walnut this afternoon, but no one was hurt.

The fire was reported about 1:45 p.m. in the area of North Claro Drive and Julliard Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Firefighters had the flames knocked down by 2:34 p.m., a dispatcher said.

There was no immediate word on what sparked the blaze.

Two adjacent homes this afternoon are on fire in the area of North Claro Drive and Julliard Drive in Walnut.

The blaze is "well involved" and a second alarm was called, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
