Olvera Street and Phillipe's

Come and explore the World-famous Olvera Street,a block-long Mexican-style marketplace lined with street vendors, cafes, restaurants, and gift shops. Wander around the marketplace and shop for souvenirs including handcrafted Mexican wares such as dresses, leather huaraches, tooled belts, piñatas, and snacks like churros. Stop by the monumental Our Lady of Angels Cathedral, which serves as a 'model Church for all Parish Churches' in the style and content of its liturgical celebrations. In design, art and furnishings, the Cathedral is rich in cultural diversity in a city in which Sunday Mass is celebrated in 42 different languages. After exploring the riches of Olvera Street, enjoy a delicious meal at Philippe's, the home of the French dip sandwich. Lunch is included.
