Pedestrian Struck, Killed On San Gabriel Valley Freeway

DIAMOND BAR, CA -- A pedestrian was struck and killed Monday when he was running across lanes of the Orange (57) Freeway in Diamond Bar, authorities said. The crash was reported at 4:38 a.m. on the northbound Orange Freeway at Pathfinder Road, the California Highway Patrol said.

At least one vehicle struck the male, whose age was not released, the CHP said.

A SigAlert was issued at 4:57 a.m. shutting down all lanes and diverting traffic off the 57 Freeway at Pathfinder Road, the CHP said.
