Job Summary:  The primary responsibility of the Manager of Business Development is to direct the positioning, imaging and business development activities for the company, while serving as a member of the Management Team to collaborate on all aspects of marketing and business development.  Must have rail car experience.

1.      Locate and screen potential business by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.

2.      Collect information of projects regarding to our potential / related business and share to management.

3.      Understand all phases and aspects of the North American rail transit market.

4.      Knowledge of and familiarity with FTA funded, P3 and other procurement processes.

5.      Maintain relationships with customers, consultants, suppliers, competitors and other industry entities.

6.      Familiar with business negotiations, capital contracting and teaming agreements

7.      Manage the company responses to RFQ/RFP opportunities; review RFQ/RFP documents, advise company on risks and liabilities and develop market strategies.

8.      Conduct customer, subcontractor and internal meetings as required to efficiently manage proposal preparation.

9.      Represent company within industry and at industry trade shows and conferences as appropriate.

10.  Liaison with sub-contractors/suppliers supporting proposal preparation.

11.  Responsible for administrative and financial reporting.
