Power Outage Affecting Homes in Diamond Bar
Southern California Edison is working to fix faulty equipment that has 72 homes without power.
About 72 homes and businesses will be without power until about 6 p.m., according to Southern California Edison.
The power outage was first reported about 8:25 a.m. in the eastside area of Diamond Bar Boulevard at Fallow Field Drive. Edison crews identified a faulty cable, and are working to fix the situation, according to a news release from the city of Diamond Bar.
The area is west of the 57 Freeway, in the area where Diamond Bar Boulevard becomes Brea Canyon Cut Off Road.

The outage also affected traffic signals in the area, according to the city. The news release reminds drivers to treat all darkened intersections as four-way stops.
