Sig-Alert Issued Following 3 Car Pile-Up On 10 Freeway

WEST COVINA, CA -- At least one person was injured at a fiery, three- vehicle crash on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in West Covina Monday that involved an overturned pickup truck and at least two vehicles that caught fire.

The condition of that injured person was not immediately known, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash was on the eastbound 10 Freeway at the Citrus Street offramp, a little after 6:25 a.m.

The CHP reported that a truck was "wrapped around a sign" at the center divider of the freeway.

A SigAlert was issued at 6:51 a.m. closing all eastbound lanes and the number one and two lanes of the westbound freeway, and the West Covina Police Department shut down the Citrus Street onramp to the San Bernardino (10) Freeway.

There was no other immediate information.
