Thursday Last Day of Traffic Signal Upgrades

The software at several traffic lights throughout the Diamond Bar will be upgraded.

Thursday is scheduled to be the last day that Los Angeles County maintenance crews will upgrade traffic signals in Diamond Bar.

The lights will intermittently flash red to allow crews to conduct routine software maintenance upgrades.

The intersection locations listed for traffic signal upgrades are:

  • Diamond Bar Boulevard/Maple Hill Road
  • Diamond Bar Boulevard/Gold Rush Drive
  • Diamond Bar Boulevard/Silver Hawk Drive
  • Diamond Bar Boulevard/Kiowa Crest Drive
  • Diamond Bar Boulevard/Mountain Laurel Way
  • Diamond Bar Boulevard/Quail Summit Drive
  • Diamond Bar Boulevard/Montefino Avenue
  • Diamond Bar Boulevard/Pathfinder Road
  • Brea Canyon Road/Silver Bullet Drive
  • Brea Canyon Road/Diamond Bar Boulevard
  • Pathfinder Road/Fern Hollow Drive
  • Grand Avenue/Lavender Drive

Upgrades will be made from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., with flash mode activated only where work is being conducted, officials said. Each upgrade is expected to take less than 10 minutes to complete.

City officials advise motorists are advised to treat red-flashing intersections as four-way stops.
