Toddler Critically Injured While Crossing Street

A 4-year-old boy was struck and critically injured today while crossing a street in Pomona.

The boy, suffering from visible injuries, was flown to Los Angeles County-USC Hospital where he is in critical condition, said Sgt. Christian Hsu of the Pomona Police Department.

The accident was reported at 2:25 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Park Avenue, said Sgt. Christian Hsu of the Pomona Police Department.

The driver involved in the accident stopped immediately, Hsu said.

Neither alcohol nor drugs is suspected to have played a role in the accident.
